The RC of Vancouver Quadra challenges every club in District 5040 to collect Pennies for Polio. DG Penny has thrown her weight behind this effort. Raid the piggybank, empty the change from your pocket, collect from friends, or write a cheque. DG Penny's weight in Pennies or One Penny Weight is worth $250.00. Here are some photos (click HERE ) that were sent to Erlene by a Board member of the charity that Jenipher Wasike set up in order to build her learning centre in Lugari, Kenya......Jenipher was the founder of this new club in her home town of Lugari as well.....she is there right now getting courses started at the centre and generally overseeing next steps.....
